Am I allowed more than one account?
In a word, no. If you feel you have a good reason to be an exception to this policy, please contact the Administaur with your reason. She will determine if you have suitable enough reason. Do not create any additional accounts without permission. They may be suspended.
My account seems to be suspended, can I just create another?
If your account was suspended, it is for a reason. Do not just create another account. Contact the Administaur immediately. She will explain why and help you resolve the issue, hopefully get you back on track as soon as possible. If you attempt to create another account in order to get around being suspended by the administration, your access may be banned for an indefinate period of time.
I would like to create another account to get rid of bad feedback?
Again, not something we allow. Your feedback is yours and you will have to deal with it.
Do I really have to give my name, address and phone number?
This is one of the few inflexable policies FurBid-SF(SM) has. Your complete and accurate information is required for use of this site. Failure to provide it may result in your new account being suspended without notice.
My information is private and I do not need to share it, do I?
In some regions your information is protected by law from government agencies from asking you. FurBid-SF is a privately owned service. As such you give up your right to protection the moment you agree to our terms by creating an account.
What reason can you possibly have for wanting it?
FurBid-SF is a venue by which buyers are able to create contracts with sellers. A proper contract requires identification of all parties whom are covered by said contract. Your information is placed on file to provide a method of legally identifying all parties in a contract, for your own protection as well as everyone else.
But everyone knows my Fan Name and who I am, so I am the exception, right?
It does not matter if every single person in the fandom knows you, the courts will not recognize anything other than a legal name or dba. There are no exceptions without legal paperwork to support your claims, and you will be required to provide them.
Another way of explaining it is to ask you to tell me if you would rather have the name of the person on your contract be their full legal name, or darkdragonbloodstuffer? Now imagine if they have defaulted on a contract which cost you $500?
I still do not want to, so I will take my business elsewhere.
If that is your choice, we will be sorry to see you go, but exceptions can not be made without reasons approved by the Administaur herself.
